  • Our hero was born into slavery on this hot summer day in July of 1838
  • Your finally old enough to stop being a water boy and start working in the fields
  • When the civil war broke out Bass Reeves owner dsecided to take him with him to fight
  • He's asleep, this is the perfect time to escape
  • Thank you for teaching me but I have to go East with my wife and kids
  • He fled to Indian territory and began to live with the creek and seminole and he learned the layout of the land and their languages
  • Let's make Indian territory safer
  • One of the only U.S. Marshals in Indian territory was a man named James Fagan, he had heard about what Bass Reeves could do and wanted to recruit him as a U.S. Marshal. 
  • ok, sounds fun
  • He became one of the best U.S. Marshals in history, he arrested over 3,000 outlaws and killed 14 outlaws in self defense.
