Storyboard Text

  • People used to call us Nixon's children because of the stereotypes he put on us.
  • For years people of color have been cast out and put into stereotypes. But the thing is, we are the ones who get to choose our identities. Our ethnicity does not define our race.
  • I went to jail to make a statement. My people have been through the dangerous acts of racism. But I say no more, we must fight racism with non-violent ways and spread peace across America
  • People of color have come a long way from harsh treatment. We have a black president, Hispanic attorneys, mixed lawyers, Asian judges, Native American news reporters. We have become greatness.
