Oh, father, what am I supposed to do without you in my life? Now I have to find a man to fulfill the place you left behind.
You may kiss your bride.
Two years old Rahena, was running away from her village burning down and having the villagers get killed. At the time, there was a wide persecution for Rohingya in the country Myanmar and Rehana was a Rohingya.
Rahena fled to Malaysia as a refugee. When she fled there, her family knew there weren't violence towards Rohingya people. It was where most refugees went. Afterwards, Rahena's father had passed away when she was 14 years old.
I wish so too...
I'm so sorry ma'am I wish we could've done something to help instead but we can't.
Rahena was married to her husband after her father had pasted away.
Rahena had 6 children. The youngest child, Anis was born deaf. Anis would make weird noises because he doesn't understand his surrounding.
Rahena tried to get her son Anis into many refugee schools, but none of them accept special needs children or Rohingya children.
Rahena went to a performance by Rohingya Women's Theatre and partners. She saw scenes of arrest, violence, health issues and etc.
