- This is a picture of the ship that was turned to stone after the Physicians provide safe travel to Odysseus. The ship was turned to stone by poseidon. Poseidon promised to punish anyone who helps odysseus home. He gets upset when they help him because
- This is the scene at the beginning of the book. Penelope is surrounded by suitors who are outstaying their welcome. They are drinking all her wine and eating all her bread. But she continues to lead them on so that she won't have to marry one of them. She holds onto the hope that her husband is alive and will return.
- Once Odysseus attacks the suitors, one of the suitors stand ups. Eurymachus says that he will pay him back for all the evil odysseus has done. He simple responds by shooting him in the throat. He was one of many of the suitors who died.
- The end of the book begins with Hermes taking the suitors in the underworld. Agamemnon was surprised by how many young people died in such a large group. They all replied that they had been murdered by Odysseus.
- In this scene Odysseus has to prove to people that its really him. She was very sure at first. Because there had been so many imposters in the past. But after revealing the secret about their bed she believed it was him.
- This is the scene where all the suitors are trying the bow. But none of the have succeeded. So they all just offer to party instead. Penelope is still unpleased by the suitors overtaking her house.
