Plymouth By: Jaylee Davis Period 4
In the Colony of Plymouth, moved to Massachusetts so that they could practice their own religion.
The colony had these Town Meetings to discuss the problems that they need to overcome.
Whaling, fishing, timber, and farms were introduced to make money for the colony.
The land was by the coast in Cape Cod, when they first got there the soil was rocky and unstable.
-Jamestown was a long process losing over half of the population in one winter. -Plymouth was like an instant success, they found ways to make money and the only bad thing that happened was the Salem Witch Trials.
How would you compare and contrast Jamestown and Plymouth?
