  • Rising Action/Conflict
  • King Aeroke woke up one morning to the sun blasting through his windows. He touched his cover to pull it off of him and it turned to pure, solid gold. At first, he was confused; then he was shocked. He couldn't believe his eyes.
  • Climax
  • Then, the king touched his pillow and it turned gold. He was excited; He was overjoyed! "Yes this is marvelous, i'm going to be so rich!" he exclaimed to himself. He rushed to his daughter Azaria (who was singing to the birds, watering the plants and picking the apples off the trees in the backyard where the smell of fresh apples was really strong.)
  • Falling Action/Resolution
  • ¨Everything I touch turns to gold! Like if I were to touch this apple it would turn to solid gold!¨ He exclaims to his daughter. She shakes her head in disappointment, sighs and continues watering the almost dead plants .¨Do you not understand money is not everything!¨ Azaria Yells. He shakes Azaria, ¨Do you not understand what this means! ¨
  • Soon, Azaria turns to gold. ¨Oh no! What have I done?¨ The king drops down on his knees and quivers the words out of his mouth, ¨Please! Please! Turn my daughter and everything back! I know Gold is NOT everything, just please!¨
  • All it took was one tear drop and everything was back to normal. The king bolted to hug Azaria. ¨Azaria, I have learned money and gold are not everything they are just attributes and I have learned greediness will get you nowhere, but farther back in life!¨ After the king learned his lesson, himself and his daughter lived happily not worrying about money or gold.
