I propose that we all unite and defeat the French! It is called The Albany Plan Of Union.
The Treaty of 1763
The French and Indian War was a conflict between French and British. It was a war to decide which nation would control The Ohio River Valley.
Benjamin Franklin proposed the Albany Plan of Union which was the idea for colonies to work together and form their own defense, unite and fight France.
The Treaty of 1763 ended the war in 1763.
The treaty gave Britain Canada and the Ohio River Valley. The French gave Great Britan Canada, they got no land and went back to France. They also gave them the Ohio River Valley. France lost money and power.
Britain imposed the Proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited them to move east of The Appalachian Mountains.
The war cost Britain a lot of money so they made colonist pay taxes. The colonist became angry.
