  • Woah. There is this virus going around called "COVID-19"
  • Wow thats bad and amazing. Teach me more?
  • Sure..lets go for a walk
  • Yes, there is..,a virus called COVID-19. Covid is caused by SARS-CoV-2. The virus spreads itself because of food and or produce traveling from all across the world, human contact, and or animals.
  • So. I get how it spreads..but how does the virus replicate itself?
  • The virus replicates itself by getting inside a human cell. Then attacks the protein spikes and attaches to specific protein cells..and makes a whole copy of the virus's genome
  • How does the virus change over time? And is it detected in a human's system?
  • The virus is detected in a humans system using a test...which would be called "RT-PCR." The test specifically focuses on the RNA genome of the virus.
  • Well, the virus changes over time because by how many times the virus has replicated itself and or spread.
  • What are antibodies?
  • Antibodies are a protein used by our immune system to identify bacteria and or viruses.
  • About the vaccine. How do our cells react when the vaccine hits? And how does it work?
  • Our cells recognize the proteins in the vaccine and then form antibodies to help fight off the virus.
  • WOW! Well that is interesting..thank you for teaching me all about the virus!
  • Yes! Of course, my pleasure. The virus may get worse so stay safe and wear a mask!
