  • The Europeans row in to what is now Canada and encounter the First Nations People.
  • The Europeans and First Nations People start to get along, because the want to trade.
  • The First Nations People would go out and hunt for fish.
  • The First Nations People brought furs to the Europeans and traded the furs in for other goods.
  • The First Nations People wanted metal goods, blankets, and guns including many others.
  • As the fur trade went on beaver got closer and closer to extinction. Soon beaver were almost extinct.
