- Montag inside the train

- *feet tapping*
- Montag talking to Faber
- You must leave Montag.
- I have a bible Faber.
- Idiot! What are you doing! Stop!
- *Rips*
- Inside the train station the speaker repeats "Denham's Dentifrice" as the people inside the train station tap their feat to the beat. Montag is getting annoyed of the ad being loud and constantly repeating.
- Poetry
- Why don't you just read us one of those peoms.
- As for poetry, I hate it.
- Faber lets Montag inside the house and Montag uncovers the bible in his hand and show's it to Faber. Faber then is in shock and asks Montag to leave.
- Montag feeling guilty
- Tip toe around captain Beatty. Survival is our ticket. Forget the poor, silly women. - Faber
- Since Faber refused to help Montag, Montag begins to rip the bibles pages in order to get Faber to help him. Faber then tells Montag to stop ripping the pages of the bible and that he agrees to help Montag.
- Montag and Captain Beatty
- RINGGG!!
- 1. Tired Montag? going out of the game?
- This is a conversation between Mrs. Bowles, Montag, and Mrs. Phelps, Montag is going to read a poem but Mrs. Bowles claims that she hates poems and does not want to stay for it. Then Mrs. Phelps says to let Montag read it.
- Have you ever heard any?
- Montag is on his way to the fire station, as Montag tells Faber he thinks he made Mrs. Phelps even more sad than how she was before. Faber tells him not to worry about them and to have a conversation with Captain Beatty.
- I made them unhappier than they have been in years, I think.
- Montag is playing cards with captain Beatty and has a long conversation on how books are bad and always betray you, but before Montag can leave the alarm rings and captain Beatty says its a special location.
