When Romulus and Remus were born, they were sent down a river since they weren't supposed to survive since their evil great uncle Amulius who was power hungry and did not want them to grow up and as heir to the throne, take over. The babies might have died if it weren't for the she-wolf who gave them milk and took care of them.
I'm going to kill you!!!!
One day, a shepherd named Faustulas found the babies and took them to his wife who helped raised the two of them.
What's happening?
Both of them grew up to be tall and strong men. One day Remus was captured. He was taken to King Amulius where Remus and soon Romulus would learn the truth about him and his brother's real identities. Then, Romulus and Remus would kill Amulius.
Oh my, what is that!!!!
After killing their uncle, the two went to go build a city of their own. But they argued about where it should go, they waited for a sign from the gods, and it came but it confused them, six birds had flown over the place Remus wanted to build the city but them more birds flew over the place Romulus wanted to build the city Romulus said he won because more birds went over the place where he wanted to build the city, but Remus said that he won because the birds flew over the place he wanted to build it first. This was the final straw. Both of them fought to the death which ended with Romulus (left) killing his brother Remus (right)
Romulus built and ruled over his city which he named Rome but there was a problem. There was a need for more women. So Romulus sent people to ask if women would want to move to Rome but no one wanted to come to Rome so they instead took a different approach and they set up a party as a trap so that, when Romulus gave the command, they kidnapped all of the women. The families of the people kidnapped tried to fight back but it was no use and Rome won
At the end of Romulus's life, something strange happened. A divine cloud came down and took Romulus to heaven where it was also said that he became immortal.
