  • WHY NOT?PEOPLE NEED HELP AND CARE!!
  • I AM NOT LETTING YOU GO TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD. IT'S VERY DANGEROUS!
  • The King and Queen finally had their baby boy. Siddhartha Gautama. His parents were very rich and powerful. Each of his parents we're the ruler of the Sakyan kingdom near the Himalayas to a silver mountain. Also, set up upon a golden couch. Before Siddhartha was born, a white elephant with six tucks always walked around the Queen and struck her on the right side.
  • Leaving Siddhartha's Family Behind
  • I must go and be a ascetic...
  • As time went on, Siddhartha finally took over his fathers place. The Prince. His father wanted him to be a powerful ruler. He feared that his son would fulfill the brahmins' prediction and he would become a spiritual speaker, or ascetic (also known as, one who abandons worldly things) seeing the world suffering. He was filled with the riches pleasures and decided to build him a palace of his own.
  • The Middle Way For Siddhartha
  • HOW DARE YOU SIT IN MY THRONE! GO BACK TO WHERE YOU BELONG!
  • After twelve years of happy marriage, his wife Yasodhara became pregnant with her fist child. Rabula. After Siddhartha became a father at the age of 29, his father let him go out more of the palace and explore things. One day him and his wife were riding along the road when they saw a very old man who was thin and hunched over leaning on a walking stick. His wife asked "Why is that man such in terrible condition and very old?" Chandaka said "He's old man who's lived a long life." They decided to go home and his father told him to drink and silken but Siddhartha went out again.
  • The Terrible Night. The Best Morning
  • Siddhartha realized that he needed to leave the palace and his worldly things to find peace. The word ascetic made him realize that being a Prince cling to many pleasures. He took his first step to nirvana also known as the end of suffering was to be homeless. At night, he went to say goodbye to Yasodhara and his son Rebula. "Take me with you whenever you go." said his wife. But he left without a word.
  • What about our family?
  • He started to eat and sleep more frequently. When the other five ascetics saw him eating a full bowl of rice, they thought he had given in to worldly comfort just like them, so they let him be. On his 35th birthday, on a full moon, be bathed in the river when and sat by a nearby grove shady tree. A cowherder's daughter thought Siddhartha was a God and offerned him rice bowl with cream and wild honey. He rested well that day.
  • Will Siddhartha be safe alone?
  • I can finally eat and have energy!
  • That morning, Siddhartha awoke and had the feeling that he would soon achieve pure enlightenment . He rose and crossed the river, passing a grasscutter who gave him eight handfuls of soft grass. He finally made his way to buddhahood. That night was just terrible, Mara, the god of self-deception has attacked him many times trying to make Siddhartha leave. He would never listen and just continued his meditation. When Siddhartha spoke again, he spoke as a Buddha.
