it was nearly midnight when Kevin moose was looking out his orphanage window. just waiting for someone to adopt him. he just wanted to run away out into the real world and not be boxed up in some stupid orphanage. he pounded on the window in his frustration and bitter hate. then he got into his bunk bed. "I can't take this crap no more," Kevin said angrily slamming his head into his pillow. his adoption interview today was the worst by far. the voice. the vision. everything. he couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.
two days later he had another adoption interview. it was couples in their mid twenties. Kevin has had a bunch of interviews with people this age. all they do is want a "baby" kid. blah blah blah is all what they say, sometimes they giggle a lot. then the voice spoke out of the walls again. "DIE. THIS WORLD WILL PERISH!" the voice boomed. "THIS WORLD MEANS NOTHING!" the couple ran out of the room. "you are not adopted you little freak!" he yelled at Kevin angrily. suddenly they stopped running and froze into ice. everyone who was out in the hall looked at them, petrified. then they started floating up into the air. then the ice dropped and cracked. their, lying on the floor were ice, and nothing else. Kevin ran straight to his room and didn't stop for anything at all. he had a dream that night about someone coming to adopt him at three-fifteen in the afternoon. sure enough, it was true. so at three-fifteen in the afternoon, went into the room and there was this middle aged bald guy with a scar across his forehead. "so," he said. "i'm going outside to tell the lady that you are just what I am looking for." " you aren't gonna adopt nob-" he was cut off by the man leaving the room and shutting the door. he was locked int he room. two minutes later the door opened. he was told that he would be adopted at eleven-thirty in the morning tomorrow. soon that time came and he was being rushed away from the orphanage.
he hadn't ever been in a car before. but the car was exceptional. the guy spoke. "you are going to be the first victim in the end of the world young fella. say bye bye to your worthless life." Kevin just said, "shut the heck up." he wasn't gonna tell this guy that he was going to kill him as soon as the car stopped. but also, what was this guy talking about. he can't end the world. that is impossible. no one can. something about this guy though, he was from his dreams, but he seemed ancient. like can and will do anything to get what he wants. even if that means to kill. not kill, but murder. that is exactly what he wants, bloody murder. it was going to start with him. ounce they got to the house he used extreme strength to pull him out of the car. then, he saw him. the guy driving him was the servant. this guy was a giant that was ten feet tall. all of a sudden Kevin felt cold inside of himself. "I am Klytho," the giant said. " cut the wheat boy, or else you will feel the most pain ever inflicted that will not kill you. or I could just give you a cluster which would hardly be less pain. it would only be a thousand years less of pain. suddenly the setting around him changed. he was in a large wheat field. then the giant vanished, leaving Kevin to cut wheat. but Kevin ran off. the giant appeared behind him. the cold feeling returned to him, his body transformed into a demon. his eyes turned fierce, his hands were claws, his teeth were fangs. then he sped up to the end of the field. he made it. he had escaped.
Kevin ran deeper into the forest behind the field. after another hour of running he saw humans. "who are you," he called out. then he saw them. skinny kids. "we are glad that you found us, i'm skeleton," said a skeleton. "I am the leader of all of us." Kevin looked around. 8 people. 8 immortals. these were the 8 immortals from a story when he was a toddler in the orphanage. it said that all of them were orphans, and there is said to be a ninth one out there in search of them. "are you the 8 immortals?" asked Kevin. "what makes you say that?" asked skeleton. "nothing, just a myth," Kevin said. Skeleton hissed and a bunch of skeletons came out from shadows. they lunged at him. "owne shde kad," Kevin said as they all froze into ice, rose up into the air, fell and shattered with not a hint of skeletons.
