  • In our homes they are very spacious, and airy. They are built of stone and marble.
  • We live in small, dark apartments. It is very crowded, and we are smushed into tall apartment buildings.
  • Education
  • Oour boys and girls get tutored by their fathers, or often by slaves, until they are 6. Our school days last until two or three o'clock in the afternoon.
  • We got sent to wok instead of school! Some female slaves had the ability to become a midwife.
