  • Exposition

  • Daedalus and his son Icarus, build a maze and they figured out that the king had him make it so he could trap a mini-tar in there so it could never escape
  • Climax 
  • Daedalus and Icarus ask if they can leave the island but the king says no because they know what they built and nobody else does, so they are forced to stay in the luxury of the castle for the rest of there lives.
  •  Falling Action 
  • Daedalus does not want to live in the castle for his whole life, so every morning when birds came to his window he would ask if they would give him 1 feather.
  •  Resolution
  • After about a year, Daedalus wakes up Icarus from a nap and tells him that they are going to escape by using wings he collected from the birds, but he had one warning, don't fly to close to the sun.
  • they successfully escape and the feathers/wings are working great, but then Icarus starts going to high and is trying to fly higher than the sky and Daedalus tells him to come back down and not fly so high and then the wax starts to melt of the wings
  • Icarus keeps flying higher and higher until the wax is fully melted and all the feathers come off and he falls way down and keep down into the ocean while Daedalus flies away thinking " I told you"
