  • Scene One
  • Claudius and Gertrude talk with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern about Hamlet's behavior.
  • Hamlet urged us to ask you to come to the play!
  • Yes, he seemed very excited about the play!
  • Scene One
  • Claudius and Polonius hide, while Ophelia is walking in the lobby. Hamlet denounces Ophelia and insults her, saying he never even loved her. 
  • I never loved you!
  • Scene One
  • Claudius and Polonius agree that Hamlet has no love for Opehlia. Claudius decides to send Hamlet to England, to see if that will push the mad thoughts from his mind. 
  • Maybe the sea and new countries will help him get over his troubles!
  • Maybe Hamlet does not love my Ophelia! 
  • Scene Two
  • Let this deadly concoction steal away my brother's life!
  • Scene Two
  • Turn on the lights! Get me out of here!
  • Scene Two
  • Your mother would like to see you.
  • I shall speak as sharp as a dagger to her, but I will not use one on her.
  • Hamlet has the players reenact the scene of King Hamlet's death. 
  • Claudius suddenly stands and screams, shocked by the scene of the play. 
  • Polonius comes to tell Hamlet that his mother would like to see him. Hamlet thinks to himself about how he should act once he sees her.
