Storyboard Text

  • Danae is far ready for a husband but am I ready for what comes after? Am I ready for someone to be desperate to replace me?
  • Oh Oracle! Bring me the prophecy of my future with my daughter's kids!!
  • "Your daughter will bear a son who will one day kill you"
  • King Arcrisius of Argos was curios whether or not he was ready for a son-in law and so he sent the oracle at Delphi to get his future told.
  • The oracle came back with news that didn't leave him happy and so he got angry. He then wanted to take matters into his own hands and wanted to deal with this himself.
  • The king locked his daughter Danae up in a tower which was surrounded by sentries and dogs. When he heard no word that his daughter had died he went to check it out.
  • A bright light shined through and as they rode towards it the light grew smaller and smaller. When he went in and saw a baby in the hands on Danae, he knew she was under special care and needed to put her to a special test.
  • The king sent Danae off on a boat with her baby without any equipment to see if she was under special protection. Eventually she flowed to an island where a fisherman brought her in.
  • Danae's son Perseus grew upon the island and become a strong, confident young man. However, he was disliked by the king of the island, King Polydects who wanted to get rid of Perseus so he can marry his mother.
