Here at the Tibet-Qinghai Plateau.The mountains are 29,000 feet in altitude and more than 5 miles high.The mountain Ranges are The Himalayas and mount Everest and more which is the largest mountain. The Huang He is one of the rivers here, so is the Chang Jiang.
in the Taklimakan desert the reason they called it the taklimakan desert is because "once you go in you will never come out." It is one of the most dangerous deserts in the world.Legend says that two armies and 300 cities are buried 600 feet beneath the sand dunes.
The Gobi desert has not many sand dunes. It's surface is made of small pebbles and tiny bits of sand. Vegetation is sparse. Plants tend to be small and widely spaced apart.
Area of great contrasts in it's climate. it has short, warm summers, in winter it's dry and cold. The major rivers in this region are Liao and Sungari. The vegetation is mostly prairie grass.
Sometimes this place is called the "Yellow Earth" its called that because the land is covered in yellow limestone silt. The Huang He runs threw the North China plain. The soil that the river brings helps grow crops and makes it good soil.
The climate here is warm and wet. The river here is The Chang Jiang. The vegetation here is a thick rainforest.
