Once upon a time, after the Earth was created, there was a bear, a spider, a fox, a possum, a wolf, and a buzzard.
First, the fox tried to steal the sun and when he got the sun he kept it in his mouth and ran. But the sun was so hot it burned his mouth, so he dropped it. So, now all foxes have black mouths.
Second, the possum tried to steal the sun too. So see went to the place where the sun was kept, and when he broke a piece of the sun he kept it on his tail. And, when he put it on his tail, and then burned all of its hair off of his tail. And this is why possums don't have bushy tails.
Then, the spider tried, she didn't want to hold the sun, so she wove a bag of webbing. She went to the place where the sun was kept and she took a piece of the sun. But when everyone had it they were wondering where they would put it. Then grandma spider wanted it to stay high in the sky so everyone could see it.
Everyone wondered if they could fly, no one could exept the buzzard. So, they asked the buzzard to fly up and put the sun where everyone could see it. Then the buzzard said " I will do what you told me to do.' So, he got the sun and flew up and put the sun where everyone could see it. Then, when the buzzard came down he was honored.
Thanks to grandma spider woven bag, now they all had sunlight, and everyone was happy now. Because everyone could see the sun and that everyone had sunlight.
