The theme of ¨The Monsters are Due on Maple Street¨,a teleplay by Rod Serling, is that you should not be quick to blame others because you can jump to the wrong conclusion based on fear or unreliable sources.On page eight and nine Mr.Goodman walks toward the group and his car started.Then everyone started to blame him that he was the alien.This shows that the group thought he was an alien because his car was the only won working.In conclusion the residents fear and suspicions led them to many wrong conclusions on who was an alien.
