THAT'S SO COOL, I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE YOU WHEN I'M OLDER!!!
HE'S ALL HEALED NOW!!
I come from a house consisting of me, my mom, my dad along with my three brothers. I always grew up around animals. My love and passion for all living things only grew as I got older. For 7 years I was on a national horseback riding team winning first in my division multiple times. Unfortunately, I had to quit riding, and get rid of my horse Silver due to my dad's strokes when I was 13 because it got too expensive with our financial situation.
Obstacles To My Dream
I would like to be a veterinary surgeon in small animals or livestock when I choose my career. Currently, I work at a farm and train horses. I have two dogs, three cats, fish and a hermit crab. No one in my family is a veterinary surgeon, or in any field involving animals, however I am set on the idea of being one since I was five years old.
How Will I Achieve This
HAVE TO STUDY!!!
Ever since I quit horseback riding, I started shadowing at Oradell animal hospital, Ringwood animal hospital, and Pompton Lakes animal hospital observing everything from checkups to surgeries in person. Watching someone change an animal's life for the better, after everything pets get us through, is just amazing to watch let alone be a part of.
With this ambitious dream of mine, there are many obstacles but there are two that worry me the most. The first one is the constant fear of what if I don't get into Clemson, or any vet school, then the career I have been dreaming of my whole life, I cant pursue. The other obstacle is the financial situations that come with this dream. Knowing how to pay off my loans will be a big challenge.
In order to achieve this dream, I have to maintain a high GPA. Along with that, I will have to participate in extra circulars and sports in order to be accepted to the college of my dreams. This college is Clemson University located in South Carolina. In the present, it is difficult, along with hard work, but in the future, it will pay off.
