During the paleolithic age, hominids grouped together in small societies such as bands, and subsisted by gathering plants and fishing, hunting or scavenging wild animals. The people in the paleolithic age used stone, wood, and bones to make tools.
During the neolithic age, they learned to make more tools. Neolithic people also learned how to farm, domesticate and trade. Neolithic people used trading to get resources to get things they didn't have. Domesticating is taming animals like wolfs (dogs), horses, chickens, donkeys, and others.
