Storyboard Text

  • “That’s easy, why not go to the dark room? There we can do it without anyone bothering us. I’ve been waiting for you to come there for several days," (Esquivel 12).
  • "Pedro, I need to talk to you alone," (Esquivel 12).
  • “Those visits to the dark room are just what I have to talk to you about,” (Esquivel 12).
  • Oh, I see. Just because I'm a poor sick man you no longer want me. John is not the one for you Tita. You'll see. It's me! It will always be me!
  • We shouldn't have done that Pedro. I am getting married to a wonderful man who has been nothing but kind. You and I can never be. I love him.
  • After learning that John's aunt was deaf, Tita confessed her mistakes to John.
  • Awe, tears of joy!
  • It doesn't matter what you did Tita. There is nothing you could do to change the way I feel about you. I would love to marry you and be with you forever.
  • John, while you were away I had relations with Pedro and lost my virginity. I thought he was the man I loved, but now I realize it is you.
  • I'm incredibly sorry John. If you truly still feel the same, then I would love to be married to you.
  • I do.
  • And so Tita and John got married.
  • I do.
  • After they got married, Tita and John ended up having a little boy. They named him Thomas. He and Alex grew up to be best friends.
  • Higher! Higher!
  • They lived happily together until the end of time.
  • I love you John.
  • I love you Tita.
