  • The south Africa Revolution
  • Stage 2: Protest
  • In 1652 the dutch took over, the people left and moved to the north and east which is called the Great Trek. South Africa was created by 4 territories two of British and the other two Boer. Later in 1948 a political party called the national party controlled the south Africa all-white parliament.
  • Stage 3: Revolution 
  • People started to be separated by race, non-whites couldn't eat or even talk to white people unless they would want to be punished.
  • Stage 4: Recovery
  • An organization called African National Congress( ANC) was set to fight against white domination over non whites. The (ANC) organized marches, strikes, and other protests. On June 16, 1976 thousands of black African school kids marched through Soweto to protest for the use of language by withe Dutchman living in south Africa.
  • In 1950 the ANC launched a campaign of civil disobedience in which ANC members openly violated apartheid laws. Laws The south African government responded brutally. Later in 1960 police fired on a peaceful crowd in Sherpeville and ended up killing 69 people that day. At another protest policeman had killed 575 people also and most of them were black.
  • In the early 1990's peace was made between no-whites and whites in Africa because they made a new constitution and every race could finally go to the same places now and have marriage, they then held their first all vote and violence had decreased. And had a problem with HIV's and got infected.
