Hello class! I'm Sir. Aqua and today I'm sharing you my experience on my cycle!
Evaporation
On a nice summer morning, I went to the beach to have a nice swimming session, then suddenly i felt a little hot! I asked Mr. Sun, "what's happening to me?" He told me that I was evaporating, and that when water makes contact with the sun, the heat turns my liquid self to a gas. After being evaporated I moved from the hydrosphere, to the atmosphere!
Condensation
Once I was fully evaporated I have now risen to the sky along side the clouds! Once it rains I would be able to get down. To do this I should go through condensation.
We've been vaporized as well! all we need to do get back down is wait for it to rain!
In this storyboard, you will learn about the nature of matter presented in the behavior of water or it's cycle.
Transpiration
Since the particles of liquid are in a constant motion, they come together. When particles come together, they transfer energy to one another and when there's enough energy transferred, it will soon overcome the surface tension holding it to the rest of the liquid, which causes evaporation.
What if water was not absorbed?
My cloud was the next to rain and we landed on a lake! When droplets of rain or water falls onto the ocean, the droplets become one with the water and ready for evaporation again!
Condensation is the process of gas/vapor, turning to water/liquid. As water droplets collide and make a bigger droplet, after this water falls as rain.
What if water was not absorbed? (2)
The last droplets to rain did not land on soil or water, except, they go deep down the surface of the earth!
When water falls on soil, plants and trees absorb it through the roots and transforms the water to a vapor! making the water going to the biosphere as vapor. To sum it all up, this process is called "Transpiration"
My cloud was not the first one to rain, but what happened to the first cloud that did rain? They land on soil for plants and trees to absorb them! This only happens though if the rain does get absorbed by soil so note that down, class!
The particles of water that fall from the clouds becomes one with it and will be ready again for evaporation
The discrete particles of water droplets land under the surface of the earth and increases the amount of ground water from the surface, but if it evaporates again, the cycle will go on and on and on.
Oh wait! there goes the bell, class is dismissed! You all may go home and study about today's lesson, see you all tomorrow!
