King Louis XVI gathers his troops to keep order from the protests.
While the King prepared his troops, the people gathered and made a plan to take over the Bastille.
The Bastille was a prison that held political prisoners and also contained lots of weapons and ammunition.
The people stormed the Bastille the next day which caught the soldiers off guard.
The prison held political prisoners. If the prisoner was pro revolution, they would help him to escape. However, if they were pro monarchy, they would kill them.
After taking over the Bastille, they stole the weapons and ammunition to help with their revolution. they proceeded to tear down the prison after they got all that they needed.
