  • Tittle: Don't look behind youAuthor: Lois Duncan
  • While April was out away from home with her family she realized how much she missed her real home so she booked a flight to go back. Her parents did not know until they found out that she ran away to go back. April didn't know that a hit man was there knowing everything about her and her family.
  • When she came back home to the house April looked around the house seeing that everything was the same just as her and her family left it. But she had noticed on the kitchen table her moms typewriter was there. April noticed someone was in the house. Trying to get a hold of her friend Larry, Porky her dog bursted out barking. April looked to where her dog was looking and saw a guy...the hit man.
  • After being frozen in her spot her grandmother walked in. She asked if she can see the tall dark figure that was staring back at her. Lorelei didn't but told April to phone the police. Which she couldn't do. Sooner or later the hit man found them back in the house and locked them in a closet not knowing that they had hidden secret passages in the house. April and her grandmother were soon crawling threw the tunnels trying to escape from vamp mike the hit man.
  • April soon escaped out of the house and ran as fast as she could toward Lorelei's car while having the hit man following close behind her along with her dog Porky. Soon April got to the car and was able to open it before seconds of the hit man appearing at the car door. The hit man forced her to get out not knowing that April found out her metal tennis racket in the car.
  • April stepped out of the car and started hitting mike vamp the hit man with her racket. After a few strong hits his legs started to crumble and he fell off into the river, slowly floating away April soon felt a relief that he was gone. After the huge mess she had to deal with she soon reunited with her family, and talked about starting a new life.
