Storyboard Text

  • British Soldiers Marching Towards Battle
  • Oh goodness, are you serious? Is that really what you call an army? Pathetic!
  • British Enjoying the Warmth and Comfort of Their Cabins
  • We have so much food that I might just need a bigger coat soon!
  • Those darn colonists will never be able to out-gun us! Our ammunition count is extraordinary.
  • Loyalists
  • We are of the British army, we do as we wish! Hahahah!
  • At the beginning of the war England seemed like victory was already theirs, mocking the Continental army for their few troops while the British army had four times as many troops.
  • British Had No Territorial Knowledge
  • The British were heavily supplied with food, water, gunpowder, muskets, swords, etc. They had as much military technology at their fingertips as they might need.
  • They Were Used to Uniformed Combat
  • Because of the 1/3 that still remained loyal to the British government, the British army could receive intel from Loyalists, shelter, and more supplies if need be.
  • While the British have a powerful army, they didn't know much about the landscape.
  • The British were used to lining up in formations to fight their enemies, but the Americans took a more ruthless way of fighting like guerilla tactics.
