Social Studies Samurai Project
I'm a Shogun. I am the military leader. I have a lot of power of the Daimyos and the Samurais.
I am the emperor. I have less real power than the diamyo, shogun and the samurai. I have less power because these people control many more things. I am more of a spiritual or religious figure.
The bushido rules teach us how to behave not just in battle, but in everyday life. It is very strict and if the rules are broken, it may result in death.
Those were the seven social classes of feudal japan. I want to be a samurai!
Now that I am ten years old, I am learning from the instructional texts in school. I am learning about the laws of Bushido.
I started my training when I was five years old.
When I become 16, I will train by myself until I am 22 years of age. I can't wait!
3 Years Later...
Now that I'm 13 years old, I am being taught the skills of archery, swordsmanship and spear fighting.
