- the first stage of primary succession, a natural disaster starts happen. which in this case the volcano starts to erupt.
- after the volcano erupts, it destroys majority of its ecosystem.
- low-growing plants starts to develop such as ferns, mosses, and lichens and they begin colonize.
- Grasses that grow quickly, blooming plants, and tiny treesshrubs are starting to take hold. AndA thin layer of dirt forms.
- Large, slow-growing trees have been settled in the 100–200 years since colonization occurred.
