The French and Indian War was a conflict between France, Indians and England, Colonist. The whole war was to decide on which nation would get control of the Ohio River Valley.
This is when Benjamin Franklin proposed the Albany Plan which was the the British Colony defense so that all colony's would join there militias together and fight as one.
The war ended between them in 1763 and was names as The Treaty of 1763.
The Treaty of 1763 ended the war in 1763, The treaty gave Britain Canada, Ohio River Valley, and all of North America . This affected France by losing all there land and power.
The Colonist and Indians began to be hostile to each other and were killing each other so Britain made the Proclamation of 1763 on the colonist which meant it prohibited them to move West of the Application Mountains.
After the war, Britain needed to re build and expand so they had the idea to charge more taxes to the colonist, the colonist did not take this well and began to be outraged. They had enough of it.
