Storyboard Text

  • Sailing away, Oddyseous receives help from the Phaecians. They set sail to return to Oddyseous's hometown, Ithaca. Over the long boat ride, Oddyseous grows tired. He agrees to rest and ends up falling asleep for most of the boat ride.
  • The team reaches Ithaca, without Odysseus. While Odysseus was resting, the Phaecians left Odysseus alone stranded on an island. Odysseus wakes alone and enraged that he is far from his hometown.
  • Odysseus, tired and upset cries in pain. Suddenly, Athena disguised as his old friend from home appears. After discussing, Athena reveals her true form. Odysseus is surprised, and Athena reassures Odysseus that he is in his homeland. Relieved, Odysseus thanks Athena.
