Why can't penguins fly? A question we ask ourselves and it seems to never get answered. Well, the reason is clear. The penguin kind was cursed, and flight could never be an option.
One day, a group of penguins were happily playing without worries or cares. Their life was simple without concern or fear or jealousy. They could fly, swim, jump, and slide. They had it all.
The crows, on the other hand, were nasty birds. They were full of hate and jealousy. Especially over the penguins. They envied the penguins for their happy, care-free life style. Because of this, the heartless crows hatched a plan. They were going to make the penguins flightless. If the penguins couldn't fly, then they would be jealous of the crows and their flying abilities.
The next day, the crows prayed to their crow god, and asked for the god's powers to curse the penguins. Even though he was a god, he still was a cruel crow. So, he gave the crows his power to take away the flight from all of the penguins in the world.
On that very day, the sky became dark and cloudy. There was a "BOOM" and then it started to rain. The penguins stopped and looked at what was going on. Then as the rain hit them, they started to feel weak.
Then all of a sudden, it stopped. The penguins went back to what they were doing, but as they started to fly, they didn't move off the ground. They watched their wings, now flippers, hopelessly as they suddenly realized the truth. They could never fly again.
