Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. They decided to move away from their home of which housed their old mother pig. Time to ditch the barn they say, time to get going on a new adventure, so one night they all left the barn and set out to buy materials for a house. One sticks, one bricks, and the other hay. Each of them were ready to go out and build houses.
Now what these pigs didn't know was that there was a big hungry wolf that had recently gotten released from his cavern. The first pig to run off and build a house, this one out of hay, was immediately rushed by the wolf. "little pig little pig, let me in" but not by the hair of his chinny chin chin was he letting this beast enter his home and gobble him up. So the wolf saw it easy to blow this hay house down, and he huffed and puffed and the walls caved in.
This pig ran to his brother, the slightly smarter pig whom built his home of sticks.. one problem, there was no glue and the house was flimsy. The wolf later showed up and blew their house down too. Both of these pigs had failed to think through their home plans and now they would pay for it. Well, they still had their brother who had to have been done building by now. He was thinking about function over time, and now this might save them.
The two pigs ran up to their brother's well constructed suburban home. For plot it was constructed rather quickly. It is said here now by both of the pigs that if they'd put in this much effort maybe their homes would still exist. The little incompetent pigs ran inside when they saw the wolf approaching, and locked the door.
The wolf got to the brick house and did nit know what to do. No matter how much he puffed at the ol' thing, it didn't budge. Eventually his lungs got tired. The wolf was in fact so tired that he took a seat in front of the house, and for panels sake did not think of other ways to get in.
YAYY! The pigs were safe and they alerted their brother. not by golly would he ever let this wolf in to eat him right on up. An important lesson was learned that day. Put thought into long term investments, because you might end up homeless.
