Lord: Macbeth has stolen the throne from Malcolm who's birthright claims it. Malcolm lives with King Edward in England and is treated well despite his recent misfortune.
Macduff has gone to England to ask for Kind Edward's support in rebelling against Macbeth. He needs the support from the Earl of Northumberland. With their help, we'll be able to put food on our tables, bring peace to our nights, and free our banquets from violent murders.
We long for that day.Macbeth has heard the news of Macduff's rebellion and is preparing for war.
Did Macbeth tell Macduff to return?
Lord: He did, but Macduff told the messenger "No way". The messanger murmured and sullenly turned his back as if to say "You'll regret the day you told me that"
I'm not coming back without an army
You'll regret the day you said that...
That may persuade Macduff to stay away from Scotland. Some angel should tell him to return quickly to relive us from our suffering country under the hand of a tyrant!
