  • This shows that Lyddie is daring the bear to step forward into to the cabin.This shows man vs. nature because Lyddie is against an animal.
  • This shows man vs self because she (Lyddie) thinks she is ugly which  helped her scare the bear away. 
  • This is man v. society because Lyddie is judged by the people in the wagon while she was traveling.
