One a night Liesel wets the bed Hans Hunbermann discovers the book she has been hiding, and then asked he if she wants to read it. After seeing that she doesn't know how to read well he decides he will teach her. Making their bond stronger.
A Lasting Friendship
This is Liesel and Hans in the basement their house riding writing letters on the wall, teaching her how to read.
At school Liesel gets up and tries to recite a page from her grave digger handbook even though the teacher doesn't want her to. She fails miserably and ends up getting in a fight with a kid who thinks she is stupid.
Liesel and Rudy make their way home on Himmel Street. Rudy is just a boy who painted himself black and Liesel is a book thief with no words.
