Pierre wanted to become a voyager because wanted the experience and to help people get the things they need around the world. And To honor his dad that was a voyager and helped the people. But the thing that pierre didn't know is that once he left ,he left behind his diary that he wanted to bring along.
So he waited until it was morning then he tried to make the boat and on the way he found some people to tag along. Once he found people he had to try to get along with them before things got to bad and they were in the middle of the river. After a while of paddling his hands were full of blisters and Peirre muscles where so sore but he couldn't stop now. By now Peirre didn't know if this was the that he made choice.

So they decided to go to the portage instead of taking the rapids because they didn't wanna risk losing there bags and other stuff. Before they went way up they played a trick on Pierre the other voyagers put 200 pellets in Pierre's bag before they went up to carry all of there bags was tough because they were carrying like 400 pounds on there back but once they got to the top a few hours later ,they built a fire and by now it's time they sat by the fire to warm up before they head off to bed for the night.
Crossing Lake Superior. Crossing Lake Superior was very difficult because the weather was just terrible because of the strong winds and any bad wave that they hit could knock them in the shoreline or even tear them apart. This was going to be very hard cause the water was not stable and it was very wobbly and ridged. They knew this was going to be tough. Once they started to paddle after a while of paddling they decided to rest on shore for a bit.
They finally made it to the Grand Portage. When the voyagers saw the trading post they knew they were going to be safe. The distance took a little long and they had quite the experience it took them about a couple of days to make it there but eventually the voyagers made it. And Peirre had a little crush on this girl that he thought was really pretty.
