  • Photosynthesis is a process in where plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide. They use this to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar. The formula being 6CO2t + 6H2O + light = C6H12O6 + 6O2
  • Plants use sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to create glucose and oxygen, releasing it into the air. The chloroplast is involved in both stages of photosynthesis. Chlorophyll's job, which is stored in the leaves, is to draw in the light- usually sunlight.
  • Photosynthesis is important because without it plants would not have food. Plants and trees rely on photosynthesis because it is they primary source of energy. Photosynthesis allows them to make glucose, which is needed for them to grow.
  • We all breathe oxygen and we've learned that plants release oxygen through the process called "photosynthesis." I think what plants us is pretty important, you know because they keep us alive. We can't live without them.
