  • Julius Caesar is being celebrated for his victory over Spain (Act 1, Scene 1)
  • We are champions together
  • The Roman people think Caesar is a good man (Act 1, Scene 2&3)
  • i don't need a crown, I'm already happy now
  • Portia keeps asking Brutus what is going on (Act 2, Scene 1)
  • Why are you lying to me!
  • Caesar is being celebrated by all the commoners for his victory. What happened in the Triumph where Caesar defected Pompey's son in Spain. The celebrating is making Marullus and Flavius upset and angry over. They believe Caesar has to much power. After Caesar's victory it caused some people to believe he has to much power and to do something about it.
  • Funeral Speech from Brutus (Act 3, scene 2)
  • We are going to be better off without him!!!
  • This is the wrong idea we shouldn't
  •  Caesar is acting as if he's a god. Other's believe he is a weak man who should not be in power of Roman.  Caesar has too much power in some peoples believing's and they want to change that. Caesar has been offered three crowns, but he has denied them. By him denying the crowns he is making the all the Roman people believe he is very modest and humble.
  • Brutus and Cassius talking before going to battle (Act 5, Scene 1)
  • Trust me it is a good idea
  • Portia can tell Brutus is hiding something. Brutus is not in bed which is causing Portia to really know something is wrong. She believes that since she is his wife she has a right to know what is happening in her husband's life. He told her that he is "sick" but she knows that he is not telling the truth.  Portia was told to go to bed after Brutus told her he was just sick. Portia went to bed knowing he was lying, but she wanted to believe he was telling the truth.
  • Brutus explains his reason and the conspirators reason of stabbing Caesar. Brutus said that he loved Caesar but Rome was more important. Brutus had to kill Caesar for everyone's good. Brutus believed that they if they left Caesar in power, then Rome would have no power and would have to listen to Caesar.  Brutus's speech was his way of everyone believing he made the right decision.
  • Brutus and Cassius did not want to keep living if they were to lose the battle against Octavius and Antony. They came to an agreement that if they are to lose they will kill themselves. They agreed this which meant the last time they talked would be now while making this promise to each other. Brutus believe that is the coward way to die and doesn't want to do that. Finally Brutus agrees completely with the plan and they may do as they said if they lose.
