Storyboard Text

  • Here the narrator shows up at the house and notices all of the evil suspension. It is dark and gloomy.
  • I have arrived at the Ushers house. I have noticed a lot of strange things.
  • Lady Madeline has been making these noises all along. She was buried alive.
  • They realize that Lady Madeline was buried alive. It is Gothic literature because it is scary when someone gets buried alive.
  • The narrator and usher bury Lady Madeline because they think she is dead. Someone dying is scary and sad.
  • Lady Madeline is now buried because she is dead and was very ill. We couldn't figure out her sickness.
  • I can't believe you buried me alive
  • Lady Madeline attacks the Usher because they put her in a coffin alive. This is Gothic literature because someone is getting attacked and it is scary for Lady Madeline to get buried alive.
  • The Usher is ill throughout the entire story. This is scary and sad for the usher so it makes things look dark when you are reading it.
  • I am very ill. I do not feel good.
  • The house falls after Usher and Lady Madeline both die. This is weird because the house only had a crack in it and it fell from the crack.
  • The house split into two and fell. Both lady Madeline and Usher sunk into the tarn.
