This storyboard does not have a description.
Hello, my name is Immanuel Kant. I was born in Königsburg, East Prussia on April 22, 1724 and I am the fourth of nine children.
Interesting. Could you tell me about what inspired you to become a philosopher?
I began studying philosophy at the University of Königsburg and received my doctorate. This inspired me to work as a lecturer and a tutor and write major works on philosophy.
What was your philosophy that contributed to the Enlightenment?
I wrote a book called, Critique of Pure Reason, to explain how reason and experiences interact with thought and understanding. This explained how an individual’s mind organizes experiences into understanding the way the world works. I worked tirelessly until my death on February 12, 1804.
