  • We can not afford to pay these taxes!
  • Why are all of the taxes being raised?
  • I will be back soon with the goods.
  • Don't let the officers catch you, or they will search your car.
  • No! Please don't!
  • Do not move! I am going to search you train car!
  • The British requierd the colonist to pay taxes on important goods. 
  • We have to do something to stop these taxes!
  • We cannot afford this, so we must protest!
  • We will no longer buy goods! We refuse to pay these taxes!
  • The colonist could not afford all of the goods because of the high taxes, so they decided to smuggle them instead.
  • We are loosing money.
  • People are protesting and not buying our goods!
  • I think its time to stop the act.
  • If the colonists were caught smuggling, they would get arrested by the officers. The officers had the right to search and anywhere.
  • Yay! No more taxes!
  • The colonists where getting angry about the taxes, so the decided to protest by not buying the goods. 
  • The British decided to stop the act because they were not making money as they intended.
  • The colonists were happy that the Stamp Act was stopped and they did not have to pay the high taxes anymore.
