Storyboard Text

  • Now class, we will be learning about the 4 Forces. Or as I like to call it, the FOURces.
  • The Forces
  • *Screeeeech*
  • Why is this chair so hard to move?!
  • *Screeeeeeeech*
  • It's called friction. Duh!
  • That's right! That is called Sliding Friction. It's when two solid surfaces slide across each other, it also makes that HORRIBLE noise. Stop pushing that desk Josh!!
  • The Forces
  • *THUMP*
  • Are you okay? Hey... falling is gravity!! Gravity is the downward pull on something. Earth's core pulls everything with mass towards it, which is why we don't float off into space.
  • Ow.
  • The Forces
  • Similar to gravity and friction, magnetism is also one of the forces. Magnetism is a force that can either repel something or pull it towards something else. For example, some chairs sometimes have the force of magnetism for little kids to be more engaged!
  • That would actually be the final force! Elasticity! Something that has elasticity means that it's stretchy, but can go back to its original shape once stretched! But don't you dare throw that at me!
  • Watch out Josh, I am totally gonna flick this rubber band at you!
