  • During the summer of Melindas year before highschool she was at a party and got drunk, during that time a boy name Andy Evans took andvantage of her and raped her

  • Over the rest of summer Melinda would spend her time insdie and alone sad and deppresed
  • "I have enterd Highschool with the wrong hair, the wrong clothes, the wrong attitude. I have no one to sit with, I am an Outcast.
  • At her first day of school Malinsa would see her old freinds but none of them wouldtalk to her amd she had a terrible day
  • In Art class Malinda needs to paint a tree, but it needs to mean something mot just a tree. She enjoys this class and the teacher and it makes her think and its a good distraftion
  • “Why not spend that time on art: painting, sculpting, charcoal, pastel, oils? Are words or numbers more important than images? Who decides this? Does algebra move you to tears? Can plural possessives express the feelings in your heart? If you don't learn art now, you will never learn to breathe!”

  • One day when Malinda was in her janitor closet Andy came in and atempted to rape her again, but this time someone heard what was going on and stoped him
  • Andy was taken away and Malinda told every one what happend and what happend at the party and thats why she called the cops, she was relized that every one was their for her and apolgized and she started to feel happy again
