I am breaking up with Stephanie and ending floorcess!
Although you have thought yourself foolish many times for even starting this, you proved yourself capable and admirable through a tough situation.
You may not have considered yourself as popular as a male cheer leader or jazz player at Morris, you were someone who was well liked by many people because you were interesting, willing to talk to anyone, and steadfast.
After college, you would hike places I wouldn't. You would be single in the right way. You found a peace in it and if not an inspiration, at least a model of how to be happy and single.
After making Thief River Falls work quite well and not going crazy, you faced your most difficult challenge... living in Rogers with two crazy people. You gave up the "good" room for some whiny guy and proved once again what a selfless person you were.
Math and computer science was not quite enough. You decided to go be a teacher. At times I wondered if you had chosen teaching to teach me a lesson. I had re-counted so many of my own struggles I was surprised you went for teaching at times. As it turns out teaching was just one more thing you went after and dominated.
Where are you now? Married, a father, in a forever house. You have overcome and navigated some of the most challenging things in life. Now you have your ankle. If you can be roommates with Tony, learn to program at Morris, have fun in Thief River Falls, find a woman who finds you amusing, produce a male, put up with me doing stuff like this, you can do the ankle.
