- 2,500 years ago prince Siddhartha was born in a forest, the size of a 2 year old, he could walk and talk and when he walked flowers grew in his footsteps.
- First day out
- A holy man came to see the baby and said if he ever saw pain or suffering he wouldn't be a king.
- Asceticsm
- His dad did not want him to be a spiritual leader and wanted him to follow in his footsteps so kept Siddhartha inside the palace away from all suffering, living a life of luxury
- Enlightenment
- Siddhartha's father decided to let Siddhartha leave the palace for the first time ever. When Siddhartha saw three main things he should never have seen: old age, sickness and death.
- WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!?
- After what Siddhartha had seen he decided to live as a holy man and went from complete luxury to the complete opposite, poverty.
- Siddhartha finally realised neither luxury or poverty was the right way so decided to go middle class where he reached enlightenment and finally became the Buddha
