  • EXPOSITION
  • CONFLICT
  • RISING ACTION
  • Maple Street is a small, quiet neighborhood with nothing extraordinary about it. It was an average, American street where children ride their bicycles and neighbors prattle on about different things together from their porches.
  • CLIMAX
  • As the residents of Maple street go about their ordinary day, a meteor (?) is seen across the sky and a roar is heard. After they saw that, the phones, stoves, and other technology stopped working.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • As the neighbors try to find a way to explain the reason all the technology stopped, Les Goodman tries to start his car. When he turned his back to the car, it turns on. That makes the neighbors think that Les is an alien.
  • RESOLUTION
  • While the neighbors of Maple Street are trying to find out who is the alien hiding among them, they hear something advancing from the darkness of the street. Charlie got his gun and shot the "alien", only to find out that it was Pete Van Horn.
  • The citizens of Maple Street start to distrust everyone but themselves, and start pointing fingers and accuse everyone of being an alien. Chaos ensues.
  • Aliens were controlling the technology all along, but they weren't hiding amongst the humans. They say that humans blame each other and their communities fall apart. Maple Street isn't the only human community this will happen to.
