Ideas and compromise from the constitutional convention
The constitutional convention had two main rivals, which was the Virginia plan and the New Jersey plan. The one on the left is Edmund Randolph, the man who introduced the Virginia plan which was that bigger states get more representatives. The one on the right is William Patterson, the man that introduced the New Jersey plan, where smaller states deserve as much representative's as the larger states, both agrued over and over on which is fair and which is right.
Individuals who had an impact on the creation of the constitution: James Madison
The Bill of Rights helped form the Constitution because it simply prevented the government from taking away those rights. The Bill of writes was created By George Mason for Virginia's constitution in 1776. He was a major supporter of the Bill of rights. The Bill of Rights had 10 amendments, 12 were offered, but only 10 were ratified.
One of the compromises that were agreed upon the states of the convention was to have two houses - Senate (2 Per State) and House of Representatives(by population). Another compromise was Senate - 6 year term House - 2 year term.
