In this scene Jackie Robinson was the very first black man to enter the major league. And was also very proud to be in the world series of baseball.
In this scene all of the other team fans and teammates were yelling at Robinson for being black. They were saying bad words to him too but that didn't bother him and kept playing. If it wasn't for Mr.Rickey he wouldn't be on the major leagues.
The children of all race were all cheering for Jackie. He was an inspiration to all the children who wanted him to be good,to deliver, and to win. His wife was a very strong supporter of him.
